Simplicity is Key

I have plenty of white walls around my home; sometimes I can't seem to get the balance right in terms of filling those walls.  But do I need to fill them?  This gorgeous image below shows a restrained touch when it comes to decorating white walls and how heavenly does it look?

The floors bleached, the furniture slim lined, the lighting recessed, the fireplace/heater modern, the floorlamp ideal, the walls white - but for one just seen artwork that is bold and colourful - that's all it takes.  Simplicity is key.

PS: on a day like today, that heater is on!

There are many times when a white wall does not require any artwork to work. Pair a white wall with a beautiful wooden floor and that simplicity and elegance can not be beaten. xo

No, you definitely don't need to fill them all, at least not if you ask me ;-)

I have a lot of white walls too and always feel so insecure about not filling them but I just can't seem to find the right art and commit to purchasing something. I think you should only put things up that you love...until then, white wall are all that you need! :)
