Just like the addition of a bit of pink or blush or salmon against black and white in your wardrobe to give it a bit of an update (remember all those blush, pink gowns at the Oscars earlier this year!).
Now, I'm not really a fan of pink (soft, blush or rosy).. it has connotations of Wham in the mid 80's for me, but this jacket below, well that's a different story.
