Home Style, Artistic French Chateau

Abundant colour, whimsical finishes, artistic flourishes all found within the walls of a renovated French chateau.

If I had a spare few dollars, I'd be happy to camp out in this beautiful 13th century ex castle set in hectares of woodland in Central France, with the view of bring something of the lush greenery inside.

The artist who lives here with her partner, has been busy decorating to the max with painting the walls by hand in lovely excessive blooms and assorted flora.  This painterly affect is grounded by the rustic doors and gorgeous herringbone floors throughout.

Something different don't you think, and quite a nod to the Edwardian era for me, with its focus on the botanical.

Those painted walls look incredible, although not something I would want in my home.
PS: Gwyneth's dress at the Golden Globes was Valentino Pre-Fall 2014, and it was actually a short dress. But if there is someone who can wear a short dress and still keep it classy, then that's Gwyneth. And you are right, there have been a few others who have associated American Hustle with Goodfellas. I'll let you see it first and we'll resume the discussion afterwards. :)
