Its great when you see a cityscape thats based on your hometown, inspire someone across the other side of the world. I came across this guy when I was flicking through LMNOP magazine. He is sooo clever. Check out his paper city - its Melbourne! He makes the cutest, funnest art projects and toys for kids and adults alike. You too can make your own paper city by printing out templates and cut and folding - follow the link to his website.
And something else...I love these cool cityscapes from Spacecraft in Melbourne. Hand screen printed on salvaged wood from heritage buildings, these images are photographs of Melbourne Architecture from the 1960's and 1970's. I think these blocks are more for your grownup arty, designer kiddo??
