Succinctly Melbourne Interior

Gorgeous interior of a renovated Victorian terrace in Melbourne's, St Kilda.  Designer Kerry Phelan, (formerly of Hecker Phelan Guthrie,) brings warmth, earthiness, boldness and a sexiness to this project.   Its all about the warm grey wall, the fabulous cornice detail and the scale of this grand dame.

I love those traditional elements, like the ceiling and those two columns. And that grey shade of the wall and the artwork propped against the wall. xo

There's a lot of beautiful pieces in this room, I love the dramatic black floor.

HI Ada, The columns are great aren't they. That grey shade is definitely something that is coming through alot in houses these days.

HI Audrey, Yes, I love a dark floor- that would be a baltic pine floor stained in a black japan product and then given a satin finish. Beautiful!
