Gold as a colour is reasonably easy to wear; and on Cate Blanchett this Alexander McQueen shimmery gold velvet number is stunning. Golden blonde hair casually styled up, an embroidered clutch, and gold shimmer shoes - all the more compelling with pale skin (yeah! from one pale freckled skin lass to another).
Modest and edgy at the same time... love it.
