In The Schedule

Just sitting at my desk and listening to the hail hitting the window.  It's been one of those days ... rain, hail, shine... literally!  It's an awesome start to the weekend and one that means staying indoors and staying dry... Maybe some old movie viewing and maybe some illustrations to be had.  Whatever the activity, there is always reading what's happening around the world.

Wait, here comes some more rain...

+  As moody as the weather is outside right now, this shoot for Lancome featuring Daria Werbowy snapped at a stormy beach pretty much says it all... except there's no way you'd be wearing just a jumper on such a day as today!  Daria gives us a rundown of her favourite vacation types via Vogue Fr here.

+ Take a peek inside this elegant and grown up renovated Brownstone in NY via Elle Decor.
So warm and inviting don't you think?

+  Yep, that's it Linda, layer up... layer those knits.  Here Linda Evangelista is one of a dozen of women that Carine Roitfeld styles for Harpers Bazaar ; a project that Carine has had on her mind for a good part of her career.  There's Linda, Claudia, Penelope, Eva, Gaga, Iman, Brooke and so many more linked with fishnets as a constant thread.  Her thoughts on this shoot via WWD here.  Personally I love seeing the 'real' supers back in the spotlight don't you?

+  Hold onto your sunnies, this bright eclectic home belongs to jewellery designer Solange Azagury- Partridge; take a tour and see where the inspiration comes from for those stunning coloured jewels made of amethyst, emeralds, rubies and sapphires; via WMagazine.

+  Tomorrow morning when the rain has stopped and everything is still wet outside, it'll be the perfect time for something warm and nourishing like eggs for brekky.  Like this delicious looking bowl of Veggie Quinoa topped with an egg from Reclaiming Provincial.  In fact, any type of egg for breakfast, lunch, dinner combination would be perfect for a cold day as rounded up in this yummy looking list over at SousStyle.

Enjoy your weekend...
