Home Style... Modern lines in the Hamptons

So we'll dispense with the white and cream for this one; although the palette remains quite simple and subtle.  Then we'll add some (or alot of), wood finishes.  Walls, exterior and interior, ceilings even, clad in wood.  This quite purist looking home is a definite move away from a traditional Hamptons abode.

The architect here did his research on sound acoustics and sought to make this place a quiet haven during even the busiest of holiday periods even with a family of kids.

Vast expanses of light, space and views can be visible from every vantage point.  And even the white marble in the bathroom isn't what you'd expect.

As a holiday shack, I can definitely see myself spending time within this very quiet and relaxing environment can't you.

Interesting architecture and I couldn't ask for more if I could step from my bedroom into a beautiful garden.
