Andrea Pompilio Menswear, Milan

Here are some pics from Andrea Pompilio's current range.   Andrea is a menswear designer to watch having worked previously at Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Alessandro Dell'Acqua and Calvin Klein.   His label was launched in January 2010 in Milan, and he is currently receiving fantastic raves about the quality and style of his range.   Scott Schuman showed some photos of Andrea's S/S 2012 runway show last week on The Sartorialist so its official!

Its about colour, refinement, quality, the mix and relaxed, easy to wear pieces.  I love the look; notice the shorter jacket, it's hip length; the shirts in fine cotton with contrast detail either on the collar or cuff; the great colour mix with red, yellow, teal; and the quality leather shoes with the tassel detail on the loafers for winter!  Classic components with an update of proportions.

So think double breasted refined jackets, quality detailed leather loafers, and colourful details whether a knit or a scarf.  And for next summer...a trip to a tropical island looms.
