+ Nicole Kidman in a 'screen test' filmed by Lynn Hirschberg, covering topics such as acting methods, why she loves it, who inspired her, and never wanting to be governed by fear! - Bravo girl. More subjects include Karlie Kloss, George Clooney, Clive Owen, Charlize Theron.. and loads more at W Mag. I love the way Nicole still has that dorky laugh - very natural.

Eva Marie Saint by Philppe Halsman |
+ Who hasn't seem some of these iconic images taken by portrait photographer Philippe Halsman of celebrities in 'jump' mode. In 1954 Philippe took a photo of his wife and noticed that whilst mid-air the subject didn't or couldn't cling onto their 'camera face' so easily- the result, a project over several years photographing subjects jumping. Subjects range from The Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller, Jean Seberg, Audrey Hepburn and Salvador Dali. Images are available for purchase via Laurence Miller Gallery here and more details of the project via here.
Hope your weekend is spent with loved ones near and far.

Helen, it's wonderful that you spent some quality time with your family.
As for the links, all great. I very much like those first two illustrations; I am thinking of ways to adopt something for my home from those two beautiful rooms designed by Aaron Hom and that Eva Marie Saint photo, amazing! Off to check more about Philippe Halsman photographs.
I wish you a wonderful weekend spent in the company of your loved ones! xo
Those first illustrations are wonderful? are they yours?
You need to start thinking about selling them on etsy!
Seriously!
Have a lovely weekend, guapa!
These are your illustrations, right? They're beautiful.
Love the styling by Hom to the left. L.o.v.e.i.t. And I love the jumping photographs. I had seen some of them before but not nearly all. Thanks for the link.
Resort 2013 seems so far away. Remind me of those keywords in a year, okay? ;-)
Have a wonderful weekend!
You know already I enjoy your illustrations, but these are so gorgeous Helen. I love all three of them, but the middle makes me think of a French woman, walking chic in Paris! yes, definitely!
