Love the wide grey floorboards and the eclectic vibe of the image below; slanted ceiling, modern lighting fixture and the rustic rug. Not overdone in the least, but really eye catching.
Stained exposed beams throughout frame each room with a nod to the traditional while housing a modern family within. I love that sectional sofa (I think it's B&B Italia), and there is a wall devoted to some Muuto shelving as well (follow the link below).
Arty and low key, just the way I like it.
