Home Style... Simple Eclectic Layering in Sydney

I've just been admiring these soothing images of interior designer Pamela Makin's work in this Sydney home.

Layered in neutral tones, travertine flooring, warm woods, a mix of vintage and modern designer and bathed in natural light with views of the harbour... what else could you wish for.

I love that coffee table with it's nod to the antiquities and that awesome Fortuny floor lamp - wow!.  But I must say the dining area with the Bocci glass hanging pendants from Hub, and the B&B Italia 'Crinoline' dining chairs from Space secured with the heaviness of the French oak dining table looks fantastic (must be the view into the garden)...

A simple, elegant take on eclectic living by the water.

The lush poolside view is a hit with me too!
