I have a thing for....the intricate details

I love looking at images of behind the scenes at fashion houses - busy hands beading, stitching, clipping, and pressing the delicate handiwork on stunning gowns.  Some images here of the fitting of Valentino's Haute Couture S/S 2012 the day before the show.  Gorgeous gowns, beaded and sequined, soft folds and pleats lap at the necklines, long fluttery hemlines nip the heels - a fabulous way to spend a few minutes getting lost within those walls at Place Vendome, 8.

Hopefully it'll help you ease into the new week ahead... more designers behind the scenes at the link below.

It feels good to be back in blogosphere and to view all the gorgeous posts of blog friends ;-)

Sometimes I find the behind the scene photos even better than the ones from the runway. And just like you I'm a big fan of all the details. The Valentino haute couture collection was absolutely beautiful. Swoon!

Have a wonderful day Helen ;-)

It truly is such an art form especially for those delicate pieces that are put together one bead at a time. Have a great week! xx
